Delete your account and associated data

You can request deletion from the Moshibary app or by email. Deleting your Moshibary account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.

How to request deletion

  1. In the app, open Settings โ†’ Account โ†’ Delete account and follow the confirmation steps.
  2. If you cannot access the app, email moshibary@gmail.com from the email address registered to the account. State that you want the Moshibary account and associated data deleted.
  3. We may ask for limited information to verify that you control the account. Never send a password, authentication code, private key, or full payment-card details.

What is deleted

  • Account credentials and profile data controlled by Moshibary.
  • Synced learning progress, decks, review schedules, settings, and other account-linked learning data.
  • Account-linked consent records, except where a limited record must be retained to demonstrate legal compliance.

What may be retained

  • Limited transaction, subscription, fraud-prevention, security, tax, or legal records where retention is required or reasonably necessary. Apple, Google, and RevenueCat may retain store records under their own policies.
  • Support correspondence and request-verification records for as long as reasonably necessary to complete and document the request.
  • Encrypted backup copies until the applicable backup cycle expires.

After verifying the request, we aim to delete or de-identify eligible account data within 30 days. We will tell you if applicable law permits or requires a different period.

Cancel a subscription separately

Deleting the Moshibary account or removing the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings to stop future renewals.
